Today, he is the mastermind behind Restaurant Korak, a Michelin-starred establishment recognized as the best fine dining restaurant in Croatia. His philosophy is rooted in respect for nature and local ingredients, with a firm belief that “if it’s not in season, it’s not on the table,” creating dishes that leave guests in awe. On the other hand, Josip Korak continues the family’s winemaking legacy in Plešivica, cultivating vineyards on the region’s most favorable slopes. His wines are not the product of modern technology but a fusion of tradition, terroir, and contemporary knowledge, giving them a truly unique character.
